For medical practices Online booking for every patient — no marketplace, your system stays.
Phone showing the booking page of Physiotherapie Lindenhof: physiotherapy is selected and Tuesday 10:30 is free.

1 · Book

Monday, 21:14. Booked from the sofa.

The client picks the treatment and the time themselves, without an account. No engaged line at reception, no call-back the next day.

Lock screen on Tuesday morning with a text from the practice: a reminder for the 10:30 appointment with a link to confirm.

2 · Remind

You decide when and how often Tempulo sends reminders.

By email and, if no confirmation comes, by text message. One tap on the link confirms the appointment — the practice sees it straight away.

Phone above the reception desk of Physiotherapie Lindenhof: check-in is confirmed, arrived at 10:27.

3 · Arrive

10:29. Arrived.

Scan the QR code or NFC tag at reception and tap “I’m here”. The team sees it in the day view, and the treatment room doesn’t sit empty.

Built for physiotherapy

Prescriptions that speak up by themselves.

A prescription has a beginning, an end and a number. If it is started too late, or the sessions run out without anyone following up, it costs the practice money — and the client their treatment.

Tempulo carries sessions and deadlines forward with every appointment and sorts the open prescriptions by urgency. No note on the monitor, no spreadsheet, no end of quarter when something surfaces.

  • Sessions are counted automatically with every appointment that took place
  • Deadlines for starting and for completing treatment in view
  • A worklist by urgency, linked straight to the record and the calendar
  • Recurring appointments book the remaining sessions in one go

There from the start

Your practice online: book appointments, run the day, keep prescriptions in hand.

  • Booking page and widget

On your own domain or embedded in your website. No one else's brand above your appointment.

  • Building blocks for your website

Opening hours, services and team as ready-made elements, plus deep links straight into the right booking. The snippet generator in the dashboard delivers the code with a preview.

  • One calendar across team and rooms

Practitioners, rooms, equipment and vehicles as resources. An appointment that would clash never comes into being.

  • Reminders that ask for a confirmation

Email and SMS, with confirm and cancel links. If an allowance runs out, the channel falls back to email instead of quietly running up a bill.

  • Series, packages, waiting list

Ten-session cards, fixed appointments across weeks, group sessions with a place count, and a waiting list that moves up by itself.

  • Waiting room and day-to-day operations

A board from “expected” to “finished”, waiting times and delays calculated rather than guessed, a delay announced with one click.

  • Self check-in

By QR code at the entrance, on a kiosk tablet, or with surname and date of birth — no account needed. Open items such as a co-payment or a certificate appear as a status on the appointment.

  • Messages instead of callback notes

Clients write from the appointment link or from their account, and the practice replies from one inbox. Every message sits in the record, not in a private mailbox.

  • Prescription management

Sessions, deadlines and a timely start — with a worklist ordered by urgency and warnings already at booking time.

  • Follow-up prescriptions and referrers

Doctors as master data, and the covering letter for the follow-up prescription as a finished PDF to print or fax — including a breakdown of who refers.

  • Client record and documentation

History, master data, consents and treatment notes per session in one place. Notes are encrypted at field level, and outstanding documentation appears as a list.

  • Qualifications and expiry dates

Services require certificates, Tempulo checks them for the appointment date — and flags expiring certificates 60, 30 and 0 days ahead.

  • Roles, access and two-factor

Owner, administration, reception, practitioner — per location. Practitioners see their own slice, not the whole practice. Sign in with single sign-on or two-factor, with recovery codes.

  • Calendar sync and absences

Google and Microsoft calendars in both directions, public holidays by region, practice holidays — and absences straight from your staff planning.

  • Migration, import and export

Map your client list from the old system in the browser, send the migration notice only after a preview, parallel operation included. Export and subject access at any time, at the press of a button.

  • German and English

Both languages from day one, time zones and public holidays included. In urban areas a considerable share of clients do not speak German.

Coming in phase 2

Without an extra subscription and without a surcharge on the plan. What we have not built yet is listed here — rather than in a footnote.

  • Intake forms and consents with signature
  • Video appointments without an extra subscription
  • Deposits and no-show protection
  • Reports across periods, not just the day
  • WhatsApp as a reminder channel
  • Public waiting list and prescription upload on your website

New: the day as it runs

The day is not in the calendar. It is on a board.

A calendar shows what was planned. It does not show who has been sitting in the waiting room for twenty minutes, who has not arrived yet, and how far behind the practice is running.

Tempulo moves every appointment through five columns — expected, arrived, called, in treatment, finished. Waiting time and delay come from the timestamps, not from an estimate. Anyone waiting too long turns colour; anyone who does not turn up is recorded as a no-show with a suggested follow-up.

  • Self check-in by QR code, kiosk tablet, or surname and date of birth
  • Announce a delay once — everyone affected that day is notified
  • A slot that frees up goes to the waiting list, without anyone picking up the phone
  • Open items on the appointment: co-payment, certificate, consent — as a status, not as a payment
  • Daily figures: utilisation, median waiting time, top decile, punctuality, no-shows

The difference

Why not Doctolib, Calendly or the scheduling module of your software?

Your practice management system bills and stays. Tempulo covers everything before that: booking, reminders with a confirmation, check-in, waiting room, prescription deadlines — in one system instead of five. These four points argue against what you have — against health portals, general-purpose scheduling tools, wellness software and the scheduling module of practice software.

Your clients stay yours
Tempulo is a tool, not a marketplace. Unlike portals such as Doctolib or CleverPractice, you keep your booking page, your domain and your brand; a directory may follow later as an additional channel, not as a condition.
Built for health data
Consents, retention periods and deletion concepts are part of the data model. General-purpose scheduling tools such as Calendly do not have that, because they do not need it.
Your practice management system stays
Tempulo does not bill payers. Service codes and health telematics stay where they are; we connect rather than replace. The scheduling module of your practice software does not have to be enough for this.
No contract that holds you
Cancel monthly, no minimum term, no set-up fee. Your data leaves with you in full and machine-readable.

Questions

What practices ask first.

Your question is not listed? Write to us — we answer ourselves, not from a template.

Can I see a demo first?

Yes. Under Online demo you pick a free slot — 30 minutes live over Microsoft Teams, with no obligation. Afterwards you decide whether a pilot place fits.

When can I start?

Tempulo is in its pilot phase. Ten to fifteen pilot practices go live first, followed by an external accessibility audit and a penetration test. After your enquiry we agree the specific start date in conversation — once it is fixed we will name it, not before, and not as a promise on the website.

Do I have to replace my practice management system?

No. Tempulo takes over appointments, communication and the prescription overview. Billing with payers, service codes and health telematics stay in your existing system.

Who owns my clients' data?

You do. We process it on your behalf; the data processing agreement is included with every plan at no extra cost. A complete, machine-readable export is possible at any time and stays free of charge for 90 days after a cancellation.

What do text messages and video minutes cost?

Solo includes 50 text messages, Team 250. Each additional message costs €0.10. Text messaging can be switched off entirely in the settings; email is then the only channel.

What does pilot phase or design partner mean?

The first 25 practices pay half for twelve months. What we ask in return is work, not a discount: regular, structured feedback and a willingness to be named as a reference.

Does every team account cost extra?

No. You pay for active practitioner calendars, not for people. Reception and administration get as many accounts as the practice needs — each with its own role per location and a visibility scope that shows practitioners only their own slice.

How do I move from my current system to Tempulo?

With the migration assistant: you export your client list, map the columns in the browser — the file itself never reaches our server — and approve the preview. Plus a checklist for parallel operation and a migration notice to every client with an open appointment, which you send only after the preview.

How secure is signing in?

Sign-in by one-time code, single sign-on with Google, Microsoft or Apple, and optional two-factor with an authenticator app including recovery codes. Treatment notes are encrypted at field level, and every access to a record appears in the audit log.

Is the interface accessible?

WCAG 2.2 AA is an acceptance criterion for every client-facing screen, not an afterthought. It is tested automatically on every change, manually with keyboard and screen reader before every release, and externally before going live.
